No matter what sort of half-assed new venture I find myself going off on, it usually ends with disappointment but it always goes back to writing.
I will start some sort of hair brained idea only to quit months later. Then I return to writing.
Writing is always there for me, waiting patiently. I love writing. [...]
It Always Comes Back To…

December Giving
December 1, 2009
No, I didn’t make the 50K word count for NaNoWriMo but am I going to let that stop me from signing up for another goal? Hellz no.
This one I’m blaming on Wicked Mess.
I’ve signed up for the December NaBloPoMo. It’s different from NaNoWriMo but still challenging.
NaBloPoMo per usual has a theme this month – [...]
NaNoWriMo Not
November 16, 2009
It is quite obvious that I am not going to make my 50K for NaNoWriMo. That’s OK. I still have 7,000 words more than I had on November 1st. Maybe I am a short -story writer? I don’t know but I am happy with what I have already. I am not a failure. NaNoWriMo served [...]
NaNoWriMo 2009
October 24, 2009
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) starts November 1st. Yes, I signed up. If you look at my profile page over there you will see I also “participated” in the previous two years. I never did do anything during those Novembers in 2007 or 2008.
But this is a new year. I’m a different person. A [...]

However, I’ve noticed when I read stories from other [...]

Oh what a canny coincidence today’s reading is; wit.
Here we go to the dictionary – I know the meaning of the word but I want to be perfectly clear.
Wit
–noun
1. the keen perception and cleverly apt expression of those connections between ideas that awaken amusement and pleasure.
2. speech or writing showing such perception and expression.
3. a person [...]

You knew it was bound to happen, so here it is… today’s topic:
“Once Upon A Time”
What immediately comes to mind when you hear those words?
For me, it is as exactly as The Daily Writer suggests, I am transported to a limitless land of opportunities and possibilities with magical chance thrown about here [...]

Today’s reading is another favorite, so dog-ear the page.
Writing As An Expression Of Faith – the title for the day – and I believe it has one of the best definitions for “literature” that I have read in a long time. Or that is how I have decided to interpret this reading because [...]

Yes yes, I know, another day behind.
Yesterday’s reading is about Fashioning Dreamscapes and it mentions Sigmund Freud and T.S.Eliot on the same page.
The Daily Writer explains that,
All of us can tap into the eerie, disorienting, phantasmagorical, yet somehow intensely real world of our dreams in order to re-create dreamscapes on paper.
I believe I [...]
