Heavy ::sigh::

WOW. I’m just not into anything right now. I’ve been bogged down other activities and I’m beginning to feel the burnout. I’ve been on the go go go mode for a while now with my running, the holidays throwing me off schedule, fund raising activities, other volunteer committee duties, BSF, and just general stress on top of everything else. But I haven’t slowed down to THINK about anything.
Until now…..
It snowed here yesterday and today the windchill is putting the temperature at feeling like it is six degrees. It’s cold and the roads are icy and bad for driving. I didn’t go to work. I’ve done absolutely nothing today. Now I feel like crap, physically. I hurt all over, stomach is a little queazy, and I’m tired. I feel like I could lay down and go to sleep and sleep all night. It’s only 3:30 in the afternoon. This is how I feel when my anemia is acting up.
I have not run since Monday and I’m wondering if that could have something to do with it.
It’s not just a physical thing either; mentally and emotionally I’m drained. An overall BLAH feeling. I reckon it will pass.
Oh well, sorry for the negative post but thanks for letting me belly ache for a few minutes.

c.a., ……………ENGLISH 101: A person doesn’t “lay down” unless they are laying some object down. A person who lies down to rest “lies down”. ?

Thank you Mr. Don for pointing this huge error out to me, and everyone else. Now we know.

I totally, TOTALLY understand! So much has been going on with me lately, too, and now I’m feeling icky. I know what’s up, but still…I prefer at least being able to enjoy my days off when I have them.
Maybe we’ll get our blogging mojo back one of these days! If not, there are still always other worthy activities to which to devote time, right?
Hope you feel better soon! I think a lot of my blahs come from stress and the cold weather.

Carol, the anemia worries me. Did you go to get that checked?

I have my regularly annual check up scheduled in March. I’ve had three or four iron infusions over the last few years. I get checked for it once a year by a specialist. However, I have scheduled a regular doctor appointment with my family doctor for Jan 19th and will ask him if he can check it.
