A Wish For 2010

Date December 31, 2009

Well, over the last week or so I came up with some interesting and really good topics that I wanted to write about and post here. Now? Eh, not so much. Why? Because I could never find the time to sit and write them out and edit them and make them something readable. Now? Time has gone by and my mood has changed or I just no longer care about whatever it was I had so much to say about.

So…..

For 2010 I will try to let all that go and start fresh. Perhaps my “New Year Resolution” will be to MAKE TIME to write. I normally am NOT one for making any sort of resolutions because, quite frankly, it is only a set up for failure. Instead I try my best to live on a daily basis and live in the moment. Yes, I make plans but I try not to expect certain results. Some people don’t get that and that’s OK. I don’t try to shove my ways on to others.

If I did have a wish for the incoming new year it would be for everyone to chill the heck out and just love and accept each other for who they are.

Good luck,

Who is c.a. Marks you ask?  This is me. I haven't thought up a clever enough "byline" yet to post here. Maybe I'll run a survey.

c.a., I firmly believe that some people put so much on their plate that they can’t give proper attention to any of it. My philosophy is that everyone should decide which are the most important issues (no more than two or three) that they want to address, and then to concentrate on just those. Several years ago I chose 1 issue, Initiative and Referendum (I&R) for Alabama voters, and my website @ http://www.doctoriq.com is devoted to that singular issue.
That doesn’t mean that I think about only I&R, but I concentrate my efforts on obtaining it. If and when Alabama becomes the 25th I&R state, and if I’m still alive and able to function, I have a second and larger issue that’s been sitting on a back burner all this time, but the only way to address that larger issue is to first obtain I&R.
If you or any of your readers are curious about that back burner issue, it’s mentioned on one of
the first pages I posted on my website, “THE DOCTOR’S PRESCRIPTION FOR
    WHAT AILS ALABAMA” @ http://www.doctoriq.com/rx.htm

Several days ago I tried to post a comment here and was informed that it would be posted, yet it still isn’t here. Why is that?

I love the chill concept. Time for writing? I’m a published writer of novels and you have to really work on time for writing. It’s always so much easier to clean out the silverware drawer than write that page. Love your blog.
