And It Was Good

Good evening my little Christmas bells.

Today I met all of my commitments; a meeting with a tour guide for the marathon visitors. She took me on my 2 mile run, the one that I will be running with visitors while telling them the history of Huntsville. You see, our Rocket City marathon is happening next weekend and I volunteered to be a running tour guide for the out of town/state visitors. The other commitment was to pass out flyers in a designated mile along the marathon course, you know, to let the residents along the way know about the marathon coming and that they may want to arrange their schedule accordingly so they won’t get caught up in marathon traffic.

Later in the day we got the Christmas tree out and got it all done up. YAY! I made hot homemade cocoa and while we didn’t get to listen to the Christmas tunes that I had planned while we were decorating it was still a good time. I compromised and The Gent had on all the football games in the background. ;-)

So, I had a good morning run with new friends, met all of my commitments for the day, and hot homemade cocoa was had by all. It was a good day.
