Aha! I Did It.

Well, I finally have something to blog about in regards to the NaBloPoMo Mitzvah theme.

I was at a friend’s event earlier in the evening when a woman comes in the door and tells my friend that she, “has that stuff in the car.” To which my friend replies, “oh crap, yeah, OK, let me get my coat and I’ll help you.”

My first thought was, “what the heck? She didn’t sound happy about having to get her coat and help her.” I was planning on just sitting there and wait for the two of them to get back from the “oh crap” car load of stuff.

Then I heard the one lady say as she was going out the door to her car, “….. but it’s really heavy, I can’t believe that a printer can be that heavy.”

::sigh::

Me: “Do ya’ll need some help?”

Their reply, in unison, “Sure!”

So down the stairs we go and out to the cold and to the other gal’s car to retrieve one office chair and one very large printer/scanner/copier/fax machine.

We unloaded the rolling office chair and then the printer and sat the printer on top of the chair and rolled it into the building. The building did not have an elevator so the other two ladies toted up the printer while I hoist the chair up on my own.

There, that was my human kindness act for the day, and also my blog post.

I probably will not continue on with this theme for the rest of the month because I hate telling about whatever good deed I have done for the day and it is probably for one or two reasons:

1. I didn’t do a good deed for the day, or
2. Bragging is unattractive

Ya’ll have a good night. I’m doing 8 miles in the morning (running) and it is going to be COLD. Oh and tomorrow I get my purple hair. I’ll send up some pics when I get it done.
